so CJC it is. wow i must admit, the fact that i'm never studying in an ACS school ever again is still hard to swallow. :( oh well. its been a blast, these past 7 years.

apparently the culture at CJ is really different from AC. there's no air-con in the classrooms and halls(wth, i think only the admin office HAS aircon), and yep, shitty uniform. but i'm still really glad i got a place anw. if not have to wait 3 months for poly. besides, stephen, lon, sk and kirby are there too, so shouldn't be so bad. :)

ANYWAY went to matt's house for cell/lunch today. knn his house makes my apartment look like a slum. 3 stories high, private pool, toliets in every room... damn. his mum's cooking is damn sick too, awesome, awesome pasta+lasagna :DDD. thanks ms. sim!! cards, cards cards after that. dominated again at bridge and taiti, but got raped at goldfish :( sigh. woo my other cellmates are really nice. pity the other acsi people never mixes with them, but oh well. thanks matt for hosting us man :D you rock!

scrolling through my old blog posts i see a couple of cherry's posts :) its such a pity that we aren't close anymore. hmmph its all cos of that damned LV trip. if i haven't left for 3 whole weeks we would still have been close, and i would have asked her to be my girlfriend. oh well, hope she finds someone else that's more suitable than me.

Went to Cherry's house to borrow her guitar for the hols. it was red(!!!) in colour, and smaller than a normal acoustic but still it played nicely. :) lol then when i went out for a while, cherry, trying to act pro started tuning the guitar and ended up breaking the 1st string (LOL!), rendering the once-fine guitar, UNPLAYABLE. D: just like the time when i broke the 5th string on Kevin's guitar last year while tuning it. DEJA VU, PEOPLE so i spent the rest of the afternoon terrorizing Fangs(the family hamster), shooting party spray-shit out of the window and spraying Miss Sixty on CF's hair. :D Fangs btw, is so damn cute that i absoutely must post a pic of him. the bball gang wanted to eat lunch and watch night at the museum at cathay, so i decided to tag along for lunch since NATM's a stupid show. THen while i was at Dhoby G tan texted me saying that lunch was CANCELLED. Wtfffffffffffffffffff so i ended up wandering around Raffles City like a lost soul checking out the sales and whatnot. I ended up using my mum's bday money to buy a nice pair of levi's shoes :D should prolly last a year or so.

So my dad asked me to create a holiday planner to study for re-exams. Here's a typical 'PLANNED' day:

8-10am - Amaths
10-12pm - Geog
12-1pm - Gym
1-2pm - Lunch
2-4pm - Emaths
4-6pm - Physics
6-7pm - Chinese
7 onwards: slack

9 FRICKIN HOURS OF STUDY A DAY. bet even gg can't take it. the first few days were fine. but now it's like this:

9-12pm - ONE FREAKING PHYSICS WORKSHEET (i like doing physics st since the camp wksts are so damn easy)
12-1pm - Gym
1-3pm - Lunch

Cherry's slack vibe has totally rubbed off on me and i've completely lost all my motivation to prepare for reexams D: and of course for mousehunt, jman's taking FOREVER MAN. i can't use internet during the day so at night i can only milk out another 5% a day, plus trap check another 4-5%. Damn. heh but after all, mousehunt is a

Well back to 1 am lights out and 9am wake-up calls from my bro. While con camp was utterly useless in helping me learn new stuff, we got shitloads of practice (maths ESPECIALLY) and so yeah! i hope Cherry's guitar and all the other outings i'm going out for wont distract me THAT much from my work and gym. :D

@#$%^&* omg freaking disappointed with myself. not just because i could have really done better with my humanities, or that i failed physics by one mark, but that i really spent a hell lot of time mugging. Like seriously, i started more than 2 weeks before exams? But i guess i concentrated too much on chem, and thus i didn't practice enough for maths and didn't study at all for lit. And to top it all off, i only got a C6 for chem. :X

deeply saddened that i can't get a new phone for the 2nd week in a row :/ mourn for me guys.

Went to SJSM's church for service today. Its like, 300m away from our school? or less. Haha unlike my 1st time at city harvest, at least i knew so many people there! Seriously can't believe Peter and SK managed to intro so many ACS guys.

Well so i sat through the sermon with De Ren. uhhhhh some of the girls were quite distracting. i lost track of the speaker after 5 minutes, but at least i got to sing and praise the Lord :D haven't done that so enthusiastically in such a long time. BUT still i think the worship at CH is like seriously 300x more powerful than this. in CH everyone follows Pastor Kong during sermon, and during praise and worship... well i guess it really needs to be experienced. Man i miss that place. :/

haha well after that was my 1st cell in my entire life, it was pretty fun really :D i didn't know learning about God could be so fun. and it was even more awesome when doing it with mates! and later on i got myself acquainted with the other members of my cluster :D i still rmb all their names! Shengwei, Abby, Christabelle, Sonjia, Brenda, Evelyn and Natalie! and they're only half my cell, the rest are AC people. Well they're all very friendly. and i felt quite at place with them. (: hahah unlike at CH where almost all my cell members were older than me. So as i sat though lunch listening to the girls discussing football, i thought, maybe leaving CH did have some plus points after all.

The last time i went to church was during easter, and 5 weeks later here i am starting all over again. Just goes to show that 6 months to O's, really is more like 6 weeks D:

hahah guess its time for an update.

BOLLYWOOD DANCING TO BREAK A GUINESS WORLD RECORD ROCKS HAHAHAHAHAHA i know the whole thing sounds ridiculous, and I used to think that too man. So while I was walking to the old block for amath remedial I was like hmmm. to go or not to go, that IS THE QUESTION!!!

so of course, the slacker in me took over and I backtracked to see what the hype was all about. Anw f.y.i dear reader, I've been like mugging non-stop for like 18 days now, which explains my apparent hiatus from the com- SO THUS, I DESERVE A BREAK RIGHT? RIGHT?!

Yep so it was freaking hot. The dance steps were surprisingly easy to learn- the instructors were pretty good too: great job you guys! and after a grand total of 30 MINUTES of quality practice, all we had to do was JUST DANCE! Gonna be okay! Just DANCE! Spin that record babe! All six minutes of it! And the rest, they say, is history.

had a BALLIN' good time ytd at city harvest! :D

took the train from bukit batok all the way to EXPO with Luke, Darren, Roger and JK. spent the entire journey texting/calling the others, think i drained half my phone battery that day-we reached Eunos before i found out that hao kai had just left queenstown. -.- ahhhh.

THEN at expo we waited for Yow kiat and his girlfriend Trisha. after waiting for 10 minutes at the 7/11 there, and after several desperate calls ("come to the 7/11 shop NOW!! LIKE, RIGHT NOW! beside the fruity chow stall! and subway!") then yk was like "I'm already here!!! where you guys?!?!" then turned out he was waiting at the 7/11 down the corridor. like.wthhhh. hahah. what were two 7/11s doing almost 100m apart anw.

later while we were crossing the road i saw my church friend Ben Tan standing directly opposite me. so of course i waved lah and he waved back. then as we crossed the road he breezed riiight past me. like. WTF?! didn't you just wave at me seconds ago? Wasen't i wearing bright enough colours?! Like, dark green?? and grey? what what what what -____-

haha kidding lah, maybe he was too stressed or something :D if you read this dude, i didn't mean anything man.

so anyway, ben lead us into the main hall. WOW.

this was at the start during worship. the blurry stuff at the top left are people too. we came like, half an hour early? and the hall was alr 95% packed. Easily more then 10,000 people there that night, and i'm not screwing around here

after worship was the drama itself. anw it wasen't bad. definitely there was weird stuff, like the lesbian kissing scene(:O) and the trial of Jesus and Silas (still don't know why Jesus was chosen instead in the end!!), but overall, the message was clear: Jesus sacrificed so much for us to be forgiven for our sins, and for that i'm forever grateful :)

hmm after the drama Pastor Kong preached to us, and then the altarcall. So happy for those who answered it! :D may your lives be changed forever yeah? XD

of course, dinner after service with pals :D i suggested Popeye's at Changi but when we went there it was SO freaking crowded, and of course i got suan-ed mercilessly and we had to walk all the way from T3 to T2 for fish and co. Yow kiat, being the right prick that he is, PANGSEH-ED US HALFWAY-i'm taking that as an personal insult, you bastard. but anw i guess it would have been really awkward if Trisha had eaten with us lol. 8 guys to a girl. so it's cool man. :D

FINAL BILL: $152.75 for 7 ppl :OO nighttime robbery, i swear. blew $25 myself, i just keep setting new records >:) told my dad i would be home by 9.30 to catch the news, but then after dinner i realised it was alr 9.25, and i was STILL at changi :O prompting someone to quip that i should catch a plane home. haha.

Wow. is this for real? 3 months ago i was blaming God for everything that went wrong for me. and trust me, a lot of things were going wrong. But now I wake up to a new feeling everyday, knowing that my life is definitely gonna change for the better. Listening to Pastor Phil preach really made me think. Are there really coincidences in life? If life goes downhill and starts to suck, is'nt it because God wants to draw out the inner fighter in you, trying to make you more than a man? Since God created all of us uniquely, why am i complaining about my looks? What's my purpose in life? What am i here for?

came for an extra night to wrap up planning and stuff. we to try out all the bloody games (like 15++) and at the end of it i was like screw it man we should give them afternoon pt or something instead. :D but of course that didn't happen

Staying true to the 'Titans' theme, I was assigned the group name

who so happened to be the son of Uranus and Gaia. Heh. i still remember all my cadets! Axel Rose, Shaun, James, Sean, John (all the random names lol), my group IC Titus, JJ, Ken Wei, Kevin, Eugene, Barath and Gavin! it was a good thing we played the name game twice. haha. thank god i had titus, he's got potential man. Played tons and tons and TONS of games (husband and wife, wacko, dry-humping-in-a-circle-while-singing-a-random-song etc) and i really hope the boys had fun. haha.

Afternoon was spent at HTA. Helped isaac draw his no.1 (you told me to take one size smaller, you prick!) and wasted away the entire afternoon while the sec 3s had their dry shoot. seriously man, i've gotta stop my 'random binging' habit (spent $6 at the hta canteen on bloody SNACKS) should have never bought money to camp at all.

everything was boring up till the NIGHT GAMES, cool stuff only happens at night, no? :D and some of the stations were pretty scary if you didn't know what was going to happen. like mark's and jk's stations. but yeah, it was fun, all the way till the last station, where haokai suddenly stepped out of the bushes in his Darth Vader mask.

Had some weird 'fitness seminar' :O ytd instead of npcc. The reason for having it was so that all the uyos should have 'standardised pt', like LOL? and they had SMU students come over and teach us what's wrong and right. lol. then it got damn funny cos the instructor wanted everyone to participate, so mass sabo-ing took place ("NCC Land, JOEEEEL ANGG!" :D) and i nearly got called out twice. bastards. oh AND they were giving away Soyjoys for prizes! *gags* ewwwww

So anw i went with KEANE TEO, of all people (isaac had npap and hk was *ahem* sick) and after the lecture we had a ball of a time(pun intended) messing around with the medicine and fitballs :DD now i want a fitball for my birthday!(hint hint) hahah but then later my stomach/abs was hurting like shit. :/ ah heck. attended Sandra's birthday party later with Cherry.

As a result of buying tickets late we ended up taking the ENTIRE row of LOVER SEATS :DD so i shared mine with ivan! super comfy lol. Haha anyway the plot and special effects were just awesome, but slumdog's still better. Heh. After the 3-hour epic JK pangsehed us to hump a tree. hmmph.

Sooooo then we went upstairs to E2Max. BEST lan cafe i've ever been to! Seriously top-notch coms, complete with Razer keyboards and mice. they even have xbox and wii there :D At 1st i didn't want to play, so i ended up staring into YK's screen as he went around spraying joshua's guts all over the floor in Left4Dead.

OF COURSE, IN THE END, however, Jenny just had to by mommy's boy and leave early :/so i paid up and played day of defeat with the remaining survivors of our little gang. So much for impeccable self-control huh :/

Super eventful day! =DD but ended up blowing $20 on food and everything. :O an entire week's allowance spent in a single day omgggg. Heck. Anything for friends :D

back from KL and shit, it was damn fun.

besides our asscrack of a CT and my roommate, i kinda miss that place :/ from raft building to jungle trekking, to playing cards till late and drinking booze since the MY people don't give a shit, and we got a really good guide too! Luke's a great busbuddy, turned out he's got girl problems too (like WOW, really) so since the avg. bus ride was like, an hour and a half? we spent most of our time playing taiti and lamenting on our 'losses'. -.- oh and congrats benno on finally getting his red topman hoodie! XD

one thing i realized about KL that aside from the occasional roadside weed, the whole place was devoid of plants and trees :/ since the place's so well developed. Like building after road after police station after road. in SG you can't walk 3 steps without bumping into some form of botanic life, and overall gives the country a much better feel (:

so after that, rest and next day straight to causeway point to buy cherry's present (: just for the record, HAPPY BIRTHDAY AGAIN, DEAR FRIEND. dinner with you and your friends was awesome, haha.

HAHA thanks Cherry for helping me blog while i was too lazy to (: thus now i shall attempt to banish in to the bottom of the page in a really, really short time.

Just got my 1st major assignment on monday: 16 amaths questions. Seriously, everything's in 1st gear now, as cdp's on ~~friday~~TOMORROW. Lol now school's really just a place to meet friends and sleep. Period. On week A I get a gueeess what a whopping 12 hours and 20 mins of free time(emaths included since the teacher's a joke) and 10 hours on week B. XD more than enough time to eat, sleep and complete my work (cherry- POKE (: ) so i can laze around at home later.

Haha so last Friday I went with cherry and and her friend jessica to watch the crescent band show off, right, and we were supposed to meet Jessica at the conservatory itself.

From what I gathered, Jessica Lim was like some uber-glamorous chick with a fetish for nasty remarks, ahhh and I was so afraid I couldn’t take her heat LOL. Then as we approached I got so ridiculously tense cherry was like ‘relax man! jess is like, the embodiment of lateness’ or something like that, so we got of at a certain bus stop near the conservatory, and while I was paying up cherry went out and screamed ‘HEY JESS!!’ and so instinctively I was like ‘what the hell?’ and dropped my one buck. What the shit it was like 7pm?! The thing starts at 7.30! and Jessica actually came earlier than us! Nice shit. So after several seconds of futile scrabbling around the floormats, I was like ‘fuck it’ and paid the cabby another dollar. What the hell, man.

Haha so I basically let the two girls talk and followed them around. Then we went into the audi and there were like tons and tons and TONS of freaking girls, which suddenly made me respect isaac koh a little bit more for soloing this event last year. Cos I still don’t believe you didn’t go alone HAHA. Contrary to what Sandra herself thought, the 1st half was pretty good! The band played ALMOST as well as the acsi band :DDD, and their version of ‘Enchanted’ and the ABBA medley was great. XD 2nd half wasent bad too, heh. Kudos to cgssb!

We met miss congeniality herself during interval, then Jessica disappeared while Cherry went to give Sandra our roses. Cherry was supposed to tell her that she bought both roses but IN THE END, nono ‘the red one’s mine but and the white one’s Joseph’s’.lol. now I realize that then was the last time I’ll see Sandra in a month. :/ hmm. Well too bad then.

After the whole thing we went to kap at like, 9.50pm? haha it was mildly interesting listen to my companions gossiping about various individuals, HEH. The situation culminated to us walking Jessica home and they were both like complaining about how painful it was to walk on heels LOL. Thank god guys are naturally taller? HAHA.
